What is wellness?
the state of being in good health, especially as an actively pursued goal.
According to the Global Wellness Institute, wellness is defined as the active pursuit of activities, choices and lifestyles that lead to a state of holistic health.
Additionally, the Global Wellness Institute states, most models of wellness include at least 6 dimensions including but not limited to: physical, mental, spiritual, emotional, social and environmental.
I think some areas in life are easier for some to maintain wellness. For myself, the focus is to improve mental and physical wellness.
This page is dedicated to sharing information I have found helpful in my own search for wellness. I have found positive results from meditation, yoga, physical training, and eating whole foods.
Moving forward, I will continue to share recipes, techniques, resources and products that help me and might help you. Wellness is an individual pursuit but we can help each other on the journey.
